If you run every framework concept through those three questions, your communication ability will increase dramatically. Mm. Number one, is this simple for my audience to understand immediately? Number two, is this valid or true in three different scenarios? That takes it from a tactic to a principle. If it only works in one scenario, it's a tactic. Mm-hmm. Mm. If it works in multiple scenarios- It's a principle ... you can call it a principle. The third one is, is it useful? The first two can be amazing and make you sound smart as fuck, but something that Trevor and I really work on, you can say shit to sound smart or you can say shit to actually help people. Mm-hmm. And the two are not always the same. And so just because it sounds smart and it's valid- Mm-hmm ... doesn't mean it's actually useful for your audience. Mm. And if it's not useful for your audience, then why are we saying it?
