Which decision accelerated your development in sales more than any skill you've ever learned? Wow, that's an intense question, isn't it? Which decision accelerated your development in sales more than any skill you've ever learned? There are two decisions. Yes, two. And the first one is no longer doing one-to-one. At some point, I realized that trading time for money one-on-one would never lead me to accumulate great wealth. That just won't work. I see that in other industries. I see it with doctors, lawyers, and tax consultants. Most of them trade time for money, even if it's a high amount, but still, it's not enough. You need leverage, and that leverage is called one-to-many. You need a way to deliver to many people at once, and there are different ways to do that. One of my favorite methods is webinars. I do a lot of webinars. In my strongest year for webinars, I did 35 of them. So, if you subtract the holidays and such, I essentially did a webinar every week. Okay. So, what was special about webinars? Always one-to-many. In the worst case, there are 500 participants; in the best case, there are 5,000, sometimes even more. So, it's like I'm conducting a sales pitch for two hours. Of course, there is a lot of content, but in the end, I also say, "Hey, I have something for you." An option that might be a good fit for you, and it looks like this. So , I have one-to-many. That was the decision that created huge leverage, and the second was—stop, a quick interruption. Hey, if you like this video, there are over 2,000 videos on this channel. For over 10 years, two new videos have been released every week. Hey, subscribe to the channel so you don't miss a single video. How good is that? So, go ahead and subscribe, and now let's continue. One-to-many with open seminars. That was the second point. Up until about 2016, I worked for companies again and again, and with corporate seminars, there is a client, and there are, let's say, 10 to 20 participants from that company who have a specific learning goal, and I help them achieve it. I did that for decades , 26 years; I did that for 26 years. Exactly. But while that is one-to-many, the "many" refers to 10 or 20 participants, and there's a daily fee. So, regardless of whether I work 2 hours or 12 hours, there is a daily fee . I can't scale that anymore, because it's trading time for money. So, in 2012, we changed the business model to start with open seminars. So, look, from 2012 to 2016, I did both, open seminars and corporate seminars, and in 2016 I stopped the corporate seminars. Okay? And the advantage is that I sometimes have many thousands of participants sitting in one seminar, in one seminar event. I even hold the world record, the world record for the largest sales training that exists on this planet, namely the Guinness World Record 2018. So, and that is naturally the peak of one-to-many, and that is then freely scalable. These are the two decisions, these two decisions that I made, which had an incredible influence on my sales results. No longer one-to-one, but always directly reaching as many as possible, as many as possible. So, if you maybe want a third one now, then it's all my online courses. I have produced over 90 online courses. The production of an online course is usually about half a day in the studio and then you have a lot of preparation and follow-up, but that is mostly delegated to the team. My job is usually to some extent the preparation and then the actual production. The team does the rest. But you can look at it this way: one full day of work and afterwards such an online course is usually sold several thousand, sometimes tens of thousands of times. And this online course is then not just watched by one person, but often by many people. And that is again one-to-many. So, now you have three examples. Those were levers. And if you are in the field of knowledge transfer, if you are in the consulting sector, if you are a salesperson, if you are an entrepreneur, self-employed, and you would like to get out of trading time for money and you would like to scale, then take a look at whether your business model can be adapted so that you can incorporate these one-to-many elements. For me, it was the game changer, and now, let's go. So, if you have watched the video up to this point , then make sure more people see this video and subscribe to the channel.
