Belege

The third difference is that a strong personal brand consists not only of expertise, it also consists of personality. Of course, people need to believe that you are good at what you do. No question, that’s important. But if we are being completely honest, there are probably thousands of people who are technically good at what you offer. Nevertheless, customers don’t just buy from anyone; they buy from the person they know, find likeable, whose style they celebrate, and with whom they simply have the feeling: I would like to work with this person. And that is actually the strength of a personal brand. People don't just see the expertise, which must be there, but they get to know you as a person, your humor, your way of communicating, and your view on certain topics; for example, I regularly get messages saying that people just find my LinkedIn posts funny. Humor is a top priority for me. Accordingly, I post a lot about it, and that creates a relationship, even though you might have never spoken to each other personally. When that person eventually needs support with your specific topic, you are no longer just some provider from the internet. You are the person they have already known and celebrated for weeks, maybe months or years, and perhaps even waited to finally work with.
