You are scaling ECOM shops, but the pipeline of your ECOM agency still remains completely empty. In this video , I will show you why the strategies that you apply to your E-commerce clients do not work for B2B acquisition , and how you can instead use LinkedIn Outbound to acquire new customers in a predictable and planned manner. You manage six or seven-figure AdSBs for your customers, the creators are bombarding them, the landing pages are converting, and then you place ads for your own agency, which are garbage and the two booked calls want to look around first, but definitely don't buy. That doesn't mean that you're bad at marketing. You're simply selling yourself something completely different . Let's take a look at the difference. In an e-commerce shop, you have a simple product and a basic Shopify pixel where all conversions are already tracked correctly, along with a high volume of traffic and relatively quick purchase decisions. You can test creatives via AB testing to get fast results, and the algorithm will have enough signals to easily optimize based on those metrics. But bro, if you run an agency, which means yourself, you are simply not selling an 80 Euro product. An NCOM founder should provide you with his ads, his creatives, his landing pages, and perhaps also a relevant portion of his total monthly advertising budget. That's not only much more expensive than an NCOM product, but the risk behind it also feels significantly higher. The trust placed in you and your agency plays a massive role in this, and it represents a completely different kind of decision than, for instance, purchasing a T-shirt online. Furthermore, your target audience is significantly smaller in comparison to that of a basic consumer product. You might have only a few hundred brands in the German-speaking market, which is not a large audience to simply blast ten creators at and then somehow sit back and wait for a winner to emerge from the group. When working with an agency, you must first establish relevance and subsequently build trust within a very small target group. The Meta algorithm often doesn't matter much in the beginning. It depends significantly more on the message, your offer, the timing, and, above all, the element of trust involved. Paid ads can certainly work for agencies, that is 100 percent true. However, a skilled e-commerce media buyer is not automatically a skilled high-ticket B2B service media buyer as well. And now comes the part that hardly any agency talks about openly, and that is the ego. What should that look like? I am a marketer, so I am not yet able to bring someone else on board to handle all of my own marketing tasks. Think about what you expect from your customers. They were also clever enough to hire you so that you could bring their company up to an entirely different level. They didn't say to you: "Hey, bro, just because we sell products, we automatically have to possess the skill set behind ads, creatives, and landing pages, or build it up in-house somehow; perhaps it makes more sense to hand that over to someone who has already performed these specific tasks a lot more often than we have." They have realized that specialization exists within a business and is a relevant factor to consider. You solve e-com marketing for them. Perhaps it is time for someone else to take over and solve B2B new customer acquisition for your business. Nobody has to be able to do everything themselves, and as a real entrepreneur, you have to check at the biggest point when you can simply hand things over. The shame behind it doesn't fill up your pipeline either. It just ensures that you accept help later on, and unfortunately usually only when it's already really hurting in terms of implementation and, yes, your bottom line. If I were operating a decent marketing agency in your market that lacked a predictable sales pipeline, I personally would not begin by pouring money into advertisements, even though that might seem like the most obvious course of action to take right now. Of course, I am naturally a little bit biased in that regard, but I would definitely recommend building up LinkedIn Outbound efforts. But don't worry, bro, I don't mean that cringe message where you say, "Hey, I wanted to network," and then the pitch comes in 3 minutes later. That's just absolute trash. Let's approach this the right way. Step one: I would choose a niche in which I happen to have my absolute best case studies to work with . So not just e-commerce companies in general, but where there is also a clan , a buyer, a concrete problem, and the kind of proof that fits the situation perfectly. In step two, I would proceed by specifically looking for the right brands on the platform LinkedIn. Which leads are relevant? Only the founder, the head of marketing, or perhaps the head of growth if the brand is a bit larger. Suitable signals that you are able to identify within such brands include new campaigns, expansion into new markets, current job openings, a growing demand for creative assets, or it could be that they are preparing for a new product launch. This way, you are not just writing to random brands at random, but you are speaking with people for whom a specific topic could be relevant at this very moment. Step 3 : The message that you send out must clearly demonstrate that you have paid close attention to detail. Start with your specific observation, briefly formulate your hypothesis and ask an honest question. For example, I noticed that you are currently testing a lot of new creatives. We were able to significantly increase the creative output for a brand in a similar phase without the quality suffering at all, so is creative volume even a relevant topic for you at the moment? Step 4: You need a system for this. New relevant contacts come in every day, follow-ups happen reliably and you can see at any time how many conversations, appointments and sales are resulting from this. Your case studies and the content that you create build up trust, but outreach ensures that the right people are the ones who actually see these things in the first place. For some of you out there, this might sound a little less sexy than setting up the next Meta campaign, only to then end up throwing another € 2,000 directly into the trash bin where it belongs. But you always receive real feedback on whether your message, your offers, and your proof are resonating with the target group, which allows you to make targeted adjustments instead of waiting weeks for some algorithm and hoping that your CPA values will somehow turn out to be correct. This is basically the system that we have been implementing for agencies for years. We have also found this to be extremely effective for ourselves, and we have demonstrably used it to support more than 350 agencies in acquiring an average of 3 to 5 new clients per month , while also easily adding € 10,000, € 20,000, € 30,000, € 50,000 or even € 100,000 in additional monthly revenue to their businesses. Many of these agencies were already exceptionally good when it came to their delivery. They simply needed a system that is suited for a B2B service and which is also able to demonstrably bring customers back to their business. Of course, you can continue to try it out for yourself now. Very valid, feel free to do so. That is the reason why I have provided the entire thing for you here in this video. Then take the first four steps from the video and please implement them properly. But if you tell yourself that you do not feel like messing around with your own pipeline for the next six months, then you can at this point book a call with us by using the link that is provided down here in the bio. We’d be happy to take a look at your offer and your target group together with you, see what you’re currently doing for acquisition, and definitely give you the next steps, bro. Even then, you can still implement things yourself and be brutally honest about what's not working right now and what you can do better. Perhaps it would also make sense for us to work together, but let us see how things develop from that point forward. Your customers were clever enough to bring a specialist into their company, who is now there to support them with their customer acquisition strategy. Perhaps it is now finally time for you to do the same thing as well, my bro. I'm looking forward to seeing you.
