Google's SynthID is going to force the "lazy" marketers to change their entire content marketing process. Or the companies that are just trying to optimize content costs. Because OpenAI and Anthropic use Google's technology to detect AI-generated content, you'll start seeing companies revert their strategies over the next 12 months. It's not only affecting text, on average, AI is used 79.5% of the time, no matter the type of content being created. 1. I believe platforms in the long run will have to label the content due to legal reasons. Some have already started labeling AI content. 2. The lazy marketer is trying to do 2 hours of work in 10 minutes. The technology is great, but the goal should be to use it and still spend 2 hours to create a better output than what a human can produce on their own.
