Degree credentials and corporate titles mean nothing compared to genuine founder instinct. @tomgozney, founder of @gozney, felt outmatched in boardrooms full of seasoned executives until he realized something critical. Nobody around the table had his level of vision, product intuition, or deep understanding of the customer. Comment PODCAST and I'll send you the full interview link.

I felt like I wasn't qualified because I'd never done it before. I've got no university degrees in business, and I was like, "I'm the least qualified person around the table." It felt like there was a secret sauce. I didn't know what the ingredients were. Fundamentally, it boiled down to a lack of alignment with what our objectives were. We hit some really, really bumpy patches. When our board came back together, they were like, "Tom, you're the only person that can have this seat." All the imposter syndrome shit is fucking bullshit. No one is going to have the deeply enriched understanding of the business like I have it. I've got the vision, I've got the instinct to say fuck you to imposter syndrome
