What truth about success did you only understand after you had already achieved success yourself, and which you now wish you had known earlier? Um, the answer is quite simple. So, there are many things that I only realized afterwards, things that I only became clear about later . And this is the most important thing, with the absolute greatest leverage. It's not about promoting the book right now. You see that everywhere anyway. That 's the absolute truth. When did I first come across this? about 10 or 12 years ago. The quote is from Jim Rowan, who is Tony Robbins' mentor. Jim Rone once said that you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with. You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with. So, now we can question that. What does Jim Rone mean by that? And this statement is at least 40 years old. who says that the people around you are like you, and if they are not like you, then you will adapt to them. It will rub off. Things become more alike because they spend time together. You adapt to them outwardly, in mindset and in actions, and you can see that everywhere. Think back to school . Who were the people sitting at the back of the bus? Back in my day, those were the cool guys in the leather jackets, they were cool. Sometimes they had already repeated a year, they had already failed a grade, they were usually a year older than the others. They were usually a bit further along physically as well. Um, they picked up the cool girls , who smoked during breaks, who drank beer. I'll stop, just a short break. Hey, if you like the video, there are over 2000 videos on this channel. I also grew up in the countryside. That's how it was. So, this was a circle, this was a clique, and they all looked the same. They listened to the same music. They had the same type of girl. They were all the same. And now look at the nerds . What did the overachievers look like? They behaved like overachievers, and the overachievers were often in their circle. And you can apply that to anything. So, what secret to success did I only discover after I was already successful ? And I would have liked to have gotten to know your environment earlier, because then I would have chosen my environment much more consciously from childhood onwards. I don't have that. In the beginning, my environment was always a matter of chance. That's just how it turned out . I only started, let's say 10, 15, 20 years ago, to build my environment like Pippi Longstocking, making the world the way I like it. The people I have in my life today were a conscious choice. I think that's the biggest game changer. This is one of the success factors that was completely underestimated, even by me. And that's why there's this book, where I've simply compiled everything I've collected on the subject over the last 10 or 12 years , everything I've come across, everything I've actually gathered to support this theory. I've put all of this in here. Entrepreneurs, politicians, athletes, such as Ronaldo. What happened when Ronaldo left Madeira and joined a professional football club ? What happened where? Max Verstappen, why did he become such a good Formula 1 racing driver? What does his environment have to do with it? Dirk Novitki, why did he become such a good basketball player? What does his environment have to do with it? I've included all of that in the book. But that's really the one thing I wish I had learned in childhood: that someone would have handed me this book and said, " Read it, then we'll talk about it, and then you can make a plan for what it means for your future." Then much less success is a matter of chance, and much more success is truly a plan. So, the book is available on Amazon, in bookstores, wherever you want. Have fun with it.
