Belege

If you constantly keep learning, you constantly attract new opportunities. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned about growing a personal brand, is that you have to take these opportunities. I’d always like to be very straight and honest. This isn’t me “shutting down my company”, this is me rebranding my existing one because there’s no reason to stop something that’s growing. You all gave me the opportunity to learn more about myself and my business. and I want to genuinely thank you for this. It’s time for me to keep giving back, which is why I can’t wait to share more and more about why, how, and what decisions we will be making for all of you to get to hear the truth about personal branding to save yourself the 3 years it took me to get here.

In the last three years, I've obsessed myself over one thought: How can I be different? Like, how can I not look like everybody else? And you realize that the only true answer to escape competition is through authenticity, as cool as you wanna make it sound. This way, you build a name that just creates opportunity to attract unbelievably good people, but also talent, and that's exactly what happened to me. I'm currently in the Netherlands to visit my family, visit my dog, because I, I haven't seen him for a couple months. And while I was here, I had a conversation I started on Instagram, which led me to meet a founder of a fashion company here in Amsterdam. The intent was for me to share a perspective on his brand, and in return, I might get some content for myself. Now, that turned into a second conversation, where something very unusual happened that changed my perspective around business. He offered me $100,000 if I'd advise his team on the decisions required to change not only the way the market perceived him, but also his company. They were, they were too close to the business to see its greatest advantage without me even realizing it. Y- you understand, for someone to do this in our small niche, like info, this is, like, unheard of. Before I left, he gave me one piece of advice. He said, "You're, you're sitting on something much bigger than you realize," and I didn't think much of it at the time. Then I couldn't stop thinking about it. The next day, what happened is I promoted Lewis to manage Grow Acquisition, for it to be running consistently. Because I needed focus. Like, I needed to focus on what was important for me. And for the first time in years, I stepped away from the day-to-day because I genuinely wanted to. Those two weeks were difficult. They were stressful, but I knew they were important to me. They weren't hiring me because I understood branding. They hired me because I, I could see something they couldn't. Every founder eventually becomes too close to their own, own company to see what makes them and their company exceptional. That's the problem I wanna spend the next decade solving. Don't worry, I'm not shutting everything down and make it look like a whole drama. I just believe I could use my skills in a better way to build something more impactful. The team is excited. That makes me excited.
