You’ll See This When You’re Going Through a Hard Time

Hook: „If you're going through a hard time, just remember that there's a woman in the 1800s who birthed eight kids naturally, did this before the invention of weekends, and was considered soft.“

Belege
  • Ausreißer-Faktor 2.27x gegenüber Account-Median
  • 105 Kommentare bei 65.935 Views, relativ hohe Interaktionsrate
  • polarisierender Hook mit historischem Vergleich
  • rotes Text-Overlay als visueller Hook im Thumbnail
  • satzweise eingeblendete Untertitel
  • einfacher Talking-Head-Aufbau ohne B-Roll

  • Handy-Selfie-Perspektive
  • keine B-Roll oder Grafiken

The other great reason for working harder is: The harder you work the more you realize what you used to think was hard work, is not even close to what you’re capable of.

If you're going through a hard time, just remember that there's a woman in the 1800s who birthed eight kids naturally, did this before the invention of weekends, and was considered soft. Like, you're going to be fine. Right? However hard you think you're working right now, there are people 100 years ago, 500 years ago, 1,000 years ago who worked 100 times harder because they didn't even know that it was considered hard work, it was just life. And so, I would encourage you to adopt this frame, which is that the vast majority of people are incredibly soft pansies, right? And so, do not compare yourself to their standards of what hard effort looks like. Because you will beat their standards and still go below your potential. Because we are capable of so much more than we give ourselves credit for. The human body hasn't changed very much in a few thousand years, right? Probably more than that. But, our behaviors and societal norms have. And so, if we're physically capable of 10 times more than we currently are, but the thing is is that the rules of society of what we've told ourselves is good enough or hard enough has now neutered our ability to push because we've given ourselves narratives of moral judgments on what is good and what is bad about work. People will People will cast a finger and point it at you and tell you that what you're doing is wrong because it is not the way that they would do it. And that is ridiculous. But, because we have social media and because you can have a million people tell you that you suck, it does change your behavior, but I don't think it makes you better.
