Talking Head + B-RollLifestyle / KulturHook: story einstieg45-90sProduktion: mittelCTA: keinerKonfidenz mittel

Belege
  • Ausreißer-Faktor 0.41x, deutlich unter Median von 42.371 Views
  • Hook ist story_einstieg statt zahlen- oder thesenbasiert
  • Thema Charity/Lifestyle statt Business-Content

Every couple of years @mattaugust and his crew put on the @okanagandreamrally ㅤ They gather supercars in Kelowna and pair the drivers with kids who've had a rough time in life. Hospital stays, treatments, things no kid should have to deal with. ㅤ This year was special. The Martell Legacy Foundation was the title sponsor and 250 supercars were parked bumper to bumper… … thousands of people lined up on the sidewalks. It was wild. None of it was for the drivers. None of it was for the cars. It was all for the kids. For one day they're not patients, they're the main event. Our copilots! Every head turns for them, and for a few hours they get to forget about everything else. For us drivers, we leave getting way more from the kids than we ever give them. My mission has always been helping young people not feel broken, and getting to do that in a loud car on a street full of people cheering their name is something I’ll never take for granted. I'm massively grateful I get to be part of it. Thank you Matt and team for putting this on. Already looking forward to the next one. ㅤ -DM

My mission in life is to help young people not feel broken. And the Dream Rally's an opportunity for these kids to have a moment where you can allow them to forget for the day. Yeah, I got paired up with Daxton, six years old, who was born with a congenital heart disease. He has to have operations essentially every six or seven years. You'll quickly realize the moment you meet Dax is he's just a normal little dude. Super cool, super fun personality. One of my favorite moments as we were walking to the car and he's got his earmuffs on, I asked him, I said, "When did you know you were gonna have this opportunity?" He said, "When I was four." And he's six now, so for two years he's been looking forward to that day. Put his little booster seat in the car and got his little flag ready to go. And one of my core life philosophies is that if you have stuff, you share your stuff. Nice homes, nice cars. Doesn't matter what it is, share your shit. Having stuff's cool. Sharing with other people, 10 times cooler. It just reminded me how little of an effort all of us 250 drivers to show up to take these kids for a drive. For us, it's something we have the privilege of doing every day. For those kids, it literally changed their life. Dude, I fucking love this, man. I love it so much
