Belege
  • Ausreißer-Faktor 0.93x, also unterdurchschnittlich für den Account
  • Frage-Hook als Einstieg, Standardformat für dieses Interview-Setup
  • Nur 16 Kommentare bei 33.939 Views
  • Einwort-Karaoke-Untertitel, mobile Outdoor-Produktion, kein Studio
Hook

„Hey, Chris. Which would you value more: time or money?“

Titel-/Hook-Muster

Thema

Zeit versus Geld, Freiheit durch Einkommen

Sichtbar
  • zwei Personen im Freien auf Konferenzgelände
  • Banner eines Content-Creator-Summits im Hintergrund
  • Einwort-Karaoke-Untertitel gelb/weiß
  • Mikrofon in der Hand der Interviewerin
  • Casual-Business-Outfit des Interviewten mit Cap und Anstecker
  • Handheld-Kamera, Gehen und Stehen im Wechsel

Hey, Chris. Which would you value more: time or money? It depends on when you would ask me this question. As in which time period in your life? Yeah, yeah. Like in your 20 versus 30? Yeah, because my perspective on this has changed a lot. What was your perspective on it when you were in your 20s? When I graduated from school, I started working, then I started to realize this concrete definition of value is not concrete at all. It's super relative, and it's flexible. It's very elastic. So I would play a game: I wonder how much money I can charge a client. So you just keep charging them more and more to a point in which you're, like, pinching yourself, like, "How am I being paid so much money?" So once you start to realize that, if I have this money, what do I do with this money that allows me to do more of what I want? So I hire people so that I have more time, so I'm buying back my time by hiring people, because I get paid more than what I pay people to do what I do. Wait, I know you said you were charging more and more, right? Yes. And that takes guts and audacity. It could take guts and audacity or arrogance or ignorance, either one. Which one did you feel like you had the most of? Probably arrogance and ignorance. It comes from believing that you're good at something like design- Okay ... that you're better than most people, and when somebody comes to you, that it would benefit them more to work with you. I would only work with you if you're smart enough to see the talent that I have and the value in which I put into the world. So if you can see that, I will offer you my gifts. It allowed me to work less hours- Mm-hmm ... of making more money and enjoying more of my life. If they want to get to the point where they want that freedom, right, what's the one piece of advice you have for them? Just ask yourself how long you want to struggle. I'm not here to convince you to do something you don't wanna do. So if you like struggling, if you like basically looking at a problem till your eyes bleed, please continue to do that. When you're ready, there's a whole nother world for you. Amazing. Thank you for that advice, Chris. My pleasure. Thanks, Sherry.
