Your business becomes whatever gets your attention.
And, trust me...attention is easy to waste.
A few emails turn into an hour.
A new platform sucks up your day.
A competitor makes you question your plan.
If you focus on stuff like that long enough, you can work hard and make zero progress.
I’ve done it. A lot.
What helped me was eventually getting much more deliberate about where my attention went.
Now, at the beginning of each week, I try to identify one thing that could truly make my business 2x to 3x better.
Then I carve out and protect time for it.
Everything else?
It has to earn its way onto the calendar.
It's a very simple idea, but it's surprisingly difficult to do well.
Because as your business grows, so does the number of things competing for your attention.
Figuring out what deserves it, what you can ignore, how to keep your business simple, and how to grow without consuming your entire life took me years to learn.
Eventually, I narrowed what I learned down to 7 specific lessons.
I break each one down in my free 30-page field manual:
How I grew a $15M solo business (without destroying my life).
