Belege
  • Ausreißer-Faktor 1,42x über Account-Median
  • Hook_typ insider_wissen mit 'secret' als Aufhänger
  • Kommentare 2.466 bei 377.726 Views, vergleichsweise hohe Interaktionsrate
  • Machart talking_head, roh, ungeschnitten, kein B-Roll

i feel like nobody documents this part like the being in between 2 identities so even if only one girl relates to this that’s a win

I've been keeping a secret from you guys for about a year, and I'm just gonna tell you because, I don't know, there's no great time. It's not a bad thing, it's a good thing. But, um, I have been getting very, very close to God this last year. And I know that that shouldn't be some like big like secret thing. But I will say it's hard when you have a social media presence around like making money, being like independent, girly, and then it's like your foundation is like changing and refining, like for the better, but it's like what people love you as is like, kind of like what you used to be. I don't know. So, and I, I'm like definitely, I feel like a year in your faith is still pretty new. Like, the intimacy that I feel when I pray with Christ and everything, like I almost wanted to like protect that 'cause whenever I share stuff online, people are always having their opinions about it. So I just kind of felt like it was like my little like, you know, thing. But I've been praying, uh, before I run every single masterclass, I pray over my students, I pray after, I pray in the morning, like I pray all day long. But I feel like it's kind of r- like hard to talk about it because it's like I know I have a platform, but... So it's like I don't wanna come on here and be like talking about like God left and right out of nowhere, and people are like, "Wait, what?" Like, "Is she just saying that just to like, you know, use God as like..." I hate when people do that. That's like genuinely my biggest ick is when people are like using God to make themselves sound like a good person, like not for the right reasons, I guess. I feel like you can just like smell it. So that's what I was trying to avoid. But then I was in church today, and of course, their message, they were talking about like it's literally like, like why would you not tell other people about it? And like you don't have to be perfect to talk about your walk with your faith. I was like, "Damn." 'Cause another thing is too, I used to do stuff and not get convicted about it. Like not like bad stuff, I've never been a bad person, but like I used to like post rants on social media, you know, not that nice, being like funny rants about men, about, you know, people that are fat, people that are broke, be like, "You're a loser," blah, blah, and I watch those videos back and I'm like mm. But it's almost like that's what a lot of people know me for. It's like being like out of pocket and ranting. And I haven't been out of pocket and ranting because I feel like my foundation is shifting, so those rants, I'm not gonna come on here and rant about something that I'm not thinking of top of mind. So it's like I feel like I am like refining my, I don't know. It's also funny too 'cause it's like as an independent woman, your thought process is like, "I did this. I closed this deal. I worked my ass off. I didn't grow up with money, but now I have money." Like I, I, I, like you almost make yourself the god. Um, which I definitely, definitely struggle with because I have created my dream life from scratch. But anyways, so when you get closer to God and all this stuff and you start actually reading the Bible, you realize that like you're not supposed to take credit for all of the things that are going good in your life. Like, that's all God. Like, you are supposed to give God all the glory. And not supposed to, like you literally should because it is Him. So it's also kind of like hard with messaging 'cause sometimes I go back and forth and I'm like, "I did, can't believe I did this," blah, blah, blah, like, "You can do this too" when it's like God really did all of that. And so yeah, I guess it's not like a secret or anything, but the only reason that I made this video, and maybe I'll post this, maybe I won't, I don't know. Only reason I made this video is because if there's like any of you guys that follow me who have been like getting deeper in your faith but you're kind of like, you know, going from like your old self to like refining yourself and you're kind of like... I feel you. And I have felt that this whole year, like it, I feel like it's a process. It's not just like one day when you wake up you're like perfect. Like I don't know. And I feel like on social media it's hard to compare yourself to people who are like, "I gave my life to Christ two years ago," and like, "This is a sin, this," and they just like seem perfect on social media. Like, I'm still probably gonna mess up. I almost said the F word just now. See? Like, but I don't think you have to be perfect to talk about how you're trying to grow and mature in your faith because that is the whole entire purpose of us being on earth. So yeah, just if you look up to me, bet you didn't know this one. Now you do.
