Talking Head + B-RollTutorial / How-toHook: these polarisierend90s-3minProduktion: poliertUntertitel: styled burned inKonfidenz hoch

Hook

„Decisions will create your life. Decisions are portals into a new identity.“

The decision making framework that I use at every inflection point in my life:

Decisions will create your life. Decisions are portals into a new identity, and every single decision that pops up in your life has to be made and aligned with the new identity of yourself. My identities, my version was college graduate, being really good at school, getting a master's, loving the game of academics, but then also working at a coffee shop and being around other people who didn't have big dreams, but then making the decision to do door-to-door sales, something that nobody in my circle did. That was super random, but I knew I wanted to be successful, so I made the decision to do door-to-door sales to learn a skill to make money in order to get into that new identity. And now I was faced at another inflection point, which was I've outgrown the door-to-door sales Shelby. I've outgrown this identity, and I feel pulled. I feel a little breadcrumbed by life into this new identity. And if I don't make a decision out of this new person, then I will stay in this one. That's how it works. You need it whenever you get faced with a decision. This is a decision-making matrix. Clarity comes from frameworks like these that are very simple to understand. Will you regret not making this decision in 80 years? Is it a yes or a no? It's black and white. It's left or right. It's yes or no. If it's a, "No, I won't regret this in 80 years," okay, maybe it's not that important. Totally fine. Put it off. But if you will regret it in 80 years, when your life is over, you only have one life. At the end of your life, will you look back and be like, "I should have done it then"? If that answer is a yes, then the next question is a second one. Is this reversible or is this irreversible? Is this something that will cause irreversible commotion in my life that I can't get back? If that's your answer, then maybe I would think about it. If it's reversible, though, fuck it and do it. Seriously, you will regret that decision in 80 years. And if it is reversible, worst case scenario, then fuck it. My decision was, yes, I would regret this in 80 years because I know that this is my dream, to create my own movement, to do exactly what I've done in the door-to-door sales industry on a small level, but to do it big and to create a movement to inspire others. All of the things that I knew were in this new identity, that is what I truly craved out of life. And then that second question, is this irreversible? No. I knew. I was like, "I could always go back to my door-to-door sales job. I could always go back next year. Worst case scenario, if it doesn't work out, I could just go back the next summer and make another three hundred grand. Who cares?"
