Belege
  • Festes Studio-Setup ohne B-Roll, reines Talking Head

Caption

No one cheers for you not drinking for a day, not smoking on a long drive, or not overeating for one night. No single workout or meal is ever impressive on its own. The reason so few people understand success is—consistency never looks impressive in the moment, only at the end.

Nobody prepares you for how unpredictable income feels when you're self-employed. I've been running a small local service business for about a year now, and the biggest surprise isn't the work itself, it's how unstable the money feels. One week you're invoicing five clients and feeling on top of the world. The next, you're refreshing your email every hour waiting for payments to clear while bills pile up like they're on a timer. Does the anxiety ever settle, or do you just get better at living with it? The answer is yes. You get better at living with it, and the anxiety never really ends, or it also ends. I think what you are anxious about changes. And so, like, I don't have any significant fears around making enough money to survive or have what I want. That really d-- at least for me, that has gone away. Some people say differently. They're like, "I always feel like I can go broke tomorrow." I don't know. I don't know if Bill Gates feels that way. Like, I think there are levels where you stop feeling that way, and I think where that level is, is different for every person. That being said, you didn't ask this question, but I'm gonna answer it anyway. How you get to a hundred thousand dollars a year is you sell one product to one avatar on one channel. That's it, and you're in this hundred to a million dollars a year range. Getting to a million is the same exact equation with one more variable, which is that you sell one product to one avatar on one channel consistently. Meaning, you're doing activities when you need business that get you business, and then when you have business, you feel fat and happy, and then you stop doing those activities. And so you need to stop living out of your own wallet, and you're choosing to work paycheck to paycheck rather than working for the business, which needs an excess of your own needs. And so you need to increase your deprivation around how much you're going to work and how consistently you do it, so that when you are having a good week, the next week you have another good week. And then that is what gives you that surplus so that you can start getting some help around these things that you're anxious about, and cash flow does have a way of giving you a little bit of space to breathe
