Talking HeadTutorial / How-toHook: warnung fehler45-90sProduktion: mittelUntertitel: einwort karaokeCTA: hart pitchKonfidenz hoch

  • Sponsored Content Hinweis in Caption, evtl. Reichweite beeinflusst

Most people keep people way too long. So for me, if number one, if somebody shows up on a meeting and they're late on their very first day, I'm gonna publicly in front of everybody, not in a trigger way, I'm not gonna be mad, but I'm gonna be direct, right? Good leadership is essentially the intersection between being very direct, but in a way that's not emotionally triggered. I'm gonna be like, "Hey, why are you late? You know, we have a certain process for how you're late to calls. If something comes up, you have to message in the chat, and you have to let us know you're gonna be late before the call. I didn't see a message, and now you're five minutes late, so I'm stopping the meeting to ask you why you're late." And you know, a lot of times they're gonna apologize or whatever. If it happens the next day, I'm gonna say the same thing, and I'm gonna say, "Look, and one of our core values of the company is X, Y, and Z, which means a behavior that exhibits that is being on time. Do you think not being on time exhibits that? No. So look, you're gonna have to find a way to show up on time. If this happens again, we're gonna have to part ways gracefully." So you just keep it low. But you have to set those standards at the very beginning. And a lot of times too, like people will sense the standards in the company and just filter themselves out and quit because they just know this is not what they're looking for, which is great. If they quit in ramp or quit in training, that's way better than them quitting in three months. So you need to set those from the very beginning
