People don't believe you can own your time and make good money. I get it. They've been trained to think: More income means more hours. More hours working means less life. Accept it without question and move on. So when they learn that someone is building a life they own, working less, and making enough to thrive... They get a bit suspicious. They must be lying. Or at least exaggerating. Or come from family money. Or whatever other thing they decide that makes them feel good. They rarely think: "Maybe that is possible..." I've done it for over 7 years now.
