Your salary is not what you're worth. And entrepreneurship is the unlock. Think about the actual math of employment. A company pays you $200K because your work generates $600K, $800K, or more. The difference between those numbers is how businesses work. To be clear, nobody's doing anything wrong here. Not the company. And certainly not you for having a great job. That's just the deal. They take the risk, they build the machine, they keep the difference. And it's an awesome way for you to gain valuable experience, skills, and knowledge. But, at some point, it might be worth asking: Could I ever collect that difference myself? I spent 16 years on the salary side of that math. And, candidly, I enjoyed it.
