Great lives are remarkably simple if you unplug from the status quo.

Great lives are remarkably simple if you unplug from the status quo. Don't spend energy on angry people. Don't get mixed up in divisive politics. Be optimistic about where you're going. Treat everyone how you want to be treated. When you have to do work, do it exceptionally. Eat well, get some sleep, and move your body. That's basically it. It's a lot different than the "hacks" and "tricks" you're sold online. And it sounds easy, but most of us break every one of these in a single day. We argue online. We get pulled into politics. We slip into pessimism. We shortchange the people around us. We phone it in at work. We stay on the couch. We sleep badly and eat worse. Then we wonder why things feel stuck. Remember: Our outputs are a result of our inputs. So, if you're trying to reverse course, try starting with the list above. And if you're looking for a new way to approach living, consider my newsletter. I send one short note every Saturday on work, money, and a life built on purpose. See why 200,000+ people read it weekly.
